Tuition Deferral and Waiver Agreement
Master’s in Software Development Program
This is a two-part agreement between a student and Maharishi International University (MIU), covering the tuition for the Masters in Software Development (MSD) program and associated housing and meal costs.
In the first part of the agreement, the student agrees to pay the tuition for the MSD program, either upon securing a job that pays at least $60,000 per year or following other procedures if they do not complete the program. Title IV Federal Financial Aid cannot be applied. Students are allowed a 12-month period to find a job after graduation, during which tuition payment can be deferred. However, failing to complete the program on time may disqualify them from the waiver. After securing a job, they must take a loan from a partnered bank to cover unpaid costs. In case of a loan default, the university may pay the balance, and the student must reimburse the university.
The second part concerns the agreement to pay for housing and meals. Students are allowed to defer 50% of these costs. The deferred housing and meal costs will be due with the deferred tuition fees once they complete the program and find a qualifying job. Students failing to maintain good academic standing may lose the privilege to defer these costs in the future.
These agreements establish the students’ financial obligations, repayment procedures, and responsibilities. Further details can be obtained by contacting us directly via any of these methods:
